QMobile Review:

QMobile is a new company having no experience about mobiles. I'v purchased QMobile E990 and mostly I found this mobile embarrassing & Absolutely Non user friendly. Some of basic features about Mobiles are:

Good Features:
1 - No doubt it has an Elegant Design & Good Looking mobile.
2 - Excelent option for re-arrangement of Icons on main screen.
3 - Good Scrolling of Screen & Files.
4 - Excelent Scroll Types & Features.
5 - Excelent feature of Picture Enlarger.
6 - 2 Sims activated at the same time is a good feature.
7 - Battery Timing is also v.good.
8 - Internet Features are v.good e.g Messengers, Browsers, youtube, Tweeter etc.
9 - Sound Quality is V.Good with Equilizer & 3D Effects.
10- I Vote 8/10 for its Design, 5/10 for its Features & 3/10 for its (User friendly) Performance.

Bad Features:
1 - We cannot control the Volume of Audio file When played directly from file (Without adding into Play List). Up & Down buttons must be installed on the side of Mobile to control the volume of directly opened Media file.
2 - No thumbnail of pictures shown in the Image List so we have to open lot of image files file (To view it) to find out our concerned image.
3 - When we open an Image It takes 3-5Sec to adjust the pixels of image then image becomes cleared.
4 - Touch sensitivity is v.good and some time v.embarrassing. There's no touch sensitivity control option.
5 - When we open any folder, an option screen is shown having 2 options of Open & Format. It's also more awkward because some times we touch on Format option instead of Open. It'll further ask Yes or No to proceed format option.
6 - When we open any file, an option screen is shown having many options of Open, Delete, Delete all, Rename etc. It's also v.Embarrassing because we want to to only open a file. These options must be implanted manually after opening that file. If we want to open options to alter file then OK of not then we can only view that particular file.
7 - During SMS writing Language Change Option is also non technical. When we want to write capital Alphabet, We must touch language change Option many times to Change it to the Capital Letters. Small & Capital Alphabets must be highlighted with single touch. It may be automatic. After dot it must be changed to capital letter. Or atleast capital letter Option or First capital Letter option must come by a single touch after Small alphabet option.
8 - There is Recording option in Mobile but we cannot record the Incoming or Outgoing Calls in easy way. What is the purpose of this recording? Mobile must contain one touch recording system.
9 - There are no themes for the mobile screen. Only Black & White screen is shown all the times. New themes gave fresh look to any mobile. Once a person get bored by using same theme for some period, he can change it to give a new look to his mobile.
10- Wifi is Non stable, Wifi Setting is also very confusing & on multiple sites e.g Separate settings for MSN & Yahoo Messengers, Opera Mini Browsers etc. Most of time we use internet but at the end of our work we came to know that we were connected through one of Simm instead of Wifi. Wifi & GPRS settings must show a dedault option & only on one main screen & every other software must pick default setting from the main setting.
11- There is no Softwares & Themes on internet.
12- The Main defect for internet users is that there is no Downloading or saving option for 3GP movies, MP3 Audio files or Web pages etc. Just play & go ahead.
13- There are also other defects in this mobile. Due to these defects I don't like it. This mobile can only be liked by such a person who didn't use other brands previously & it will be his first experience of mobile.

I'm sure that all above said defects are also present in previous models. With these defects a mobile model can be sold by spending a huge on advertisement but it will fail to enjoy the long term repute Like Nokia 3310, 1100, SonyEriccson K700i etc.
These all defects can be subsided if Company give some special features in the same price e.g. High megapixel camera with carlzies lense, High memory, Xenon Flash, LED Torch, PDF Reader etc.
Company's RnD section must think about these features, otherwise this mobile brand will also lose its repute like Bird Mobile, Sando Mobile, Club Mobile, Tecno Mobile and other chinese Mobiles etc. These all brands enjoy their repute for a very small period of time.
In the Last, Please guide the consumers to select the best product from a market Bulk.

I have been using E990 for 8 months now. First good things. It is a cheap option/replacement for expensive nokia phones, with all the features in it.
camera is ok, average. WIFI connection is stable and good range.battery talk time is v.good.applications are also good.
Now bad news:touch screen is not working properly and right now I have given it for repair under warranty.while typing message keys are not working on touch screen.
second, vibration turned off/on by itself.
vibration is so low that you cant feel it while phone is in pocket like nokia and other phones.
calander is not good, it does not allow you to save birthdays.
no utility to backup phone on PC.
no option to create icons for Java apps in main menu.like nokia and smart phones. if they atleast give menu editor application that would make it more close to smart phones.
on/off button screwed up and not working.had to give the phone for warranty repair.
while talking on phone,screen will disappear and to disconnect a call u have to press on/off button to open the screen then use touch screen to disconnect.(i hate that part specially when on/off button was not working)
its software is very unstable and may start to act strange any time for no reason,like one sim slot will not work,data in memory card will get corrupt,vibration mode not working.
finally,Nokia is best if u have money.if u want cheap option then qmobile is best but dont drop it,dont install software,dont experiment with it,use it with care.

the Qmobile e990 is a rubbish set.i had a set c2-03 which i didnt like coz of iys size and lack of apps,so in exchange of that i bought 2 mobiles which were MEGAGATE T610 TITAN and Q MOBILE E990.
i sugest thers no need of buying e990 and u should buy MEGAGATE T610 TITAN rather than it does not have wi fi but still a better mobile.

hey guys, if u wana play youtube, go to video setting first, secondly go to network profiles and if ur using zong then don't choose zong gprs coz it do not plays youtube choose any other like ufone gprs,telenor gprs,mobilink gprs etc. or choose wlan if ur using wifi.
Thats the simple trick to play youtube videos.... if any one can not understand this trick he can email me his problem

while its touch is amazing, and charge usage till 2 days by using it normally..
wifi is good.. it has FTP system too..

1) Touch is Very Fast, Some Time Finger is Near Screen it get Touched
2) Limited Featured Software, even its software quality low w.r.t. Q60 or E900
3) Security Password Phone Lock only Worked when mobile is switched on.
4) Battery Timing is 1 Complete Day if you have Average Usage of Internet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Calls, otherwise maximum Two Days.
5) Some Java Applications are installed and supported not every Java File.
6) You Tube Streaming Doesn't Work, Usually Disconnected.
7) Phone Book has Very Limited Options, only 4 No�s Can be stored under one Name, No Extra Detail can be Added like Nokia, HTC or other
8) Phone Memory is Very Low and when you use Google Maps or Heavy Data Site it usually Indicate """Low on Memory"""
9) To write Contacts From Phone Suit is Hectic Job, u have to Write/Copy/Paste One By One From Existing Contacts Stored in your PC From ur Nokia Handset.
10) Some Details Present in Nokia Stored Contact didn�t displayed when transferred in QMobile.
11) Keypad is automatically locked when call is connected, to end the call press power button, unlock the keypad, then DC
12) Messages can�t be sorted by Name or Group
13) Mobil Vibration on every touch, using any key, can be stopped only on silent Mode.
14) Key pad sounds only stopped on Meeting and Silent Mode, not otherwise.

20) Sometime vibration automatically stopped, then i have to open mobile battery casing, then restart then works.
21) Dual Sim, Best Performance
22) No option to add or remove widgets displayed on Screen.
23) Only one Java Application can be started One Time, unlike nokia Java Supported sets.
24) No option to use set as Modem with PC, while Nokia sets are easily used as Modem.
25) What is UART anybody knows? Tell me.

Its a good mobile with sensitive touch...
Sound quality is good. Camera is of 3 Mega Pixel, but snaps require sufficient light.
WiFi also good. It can also be used as web cam with your pc. Both simms work same time.
Missing things are countdown timer and stopwatch. But JAVA solves this problem as well. GSensor is also good.

I buy qmobile e990, few days before. There is a very big defect in this mobile, if someone is going to buy this mobile for it's wifi so please don't buy this. The reason is that, this mobile has wifi and you can connect to your router but you can't use your wifi net for browsing etc. I check qmoible website for e990 all links downloads are not working and I Google this problem every where but up to now no one resolve this problem, even I notice many people have issue of qmoible wifi functionality. If you have decision to by this mobile please don't waist your money.
